Sigelei Snowwolf Mini Starter Kit Review – A Mini Wild Wolf With 100W Bite

After the release of the SnowWolf, many people were pleased with all aspects of it except one, the size of it. The original SnowWolf was quite bulky and huge due to the dual batteries that it runs on. And of course, then released a smaller version of the Snow Wolf, called the Snowwolf Mini. So today let’s take a close look at the Snowwolf Mini Starter Kit.

Firstly is about its appearance. Not just me, the most memorable part of the experience was the giant metal wolf head on the side of the mod, this is Snowwolf vape’s traditional decoration. The official said that the 3D snowwolf logo is a unique design and show the strong mechanical sense. On the mod, there are brass plating and piano black and is well-machined and smoothly applied. The similarly round fire key and operation buttons are solid and well-done, with only the slightest bit of rattle and play – most users won’t even notice. As a regulated, the SnowWolf mini features a standard 0.91-inch display, which is expectedly linear and old-fashioned. It’s not hard to get to the available features and modes, but in 2018, I think we’re past the monochrome display and long press/short press mechanics. For what it is, it works fine. But I’m not wrong for expecting more from SnowWolf here, and I’m confident others will agree. Finally, there’s the battery setup, which allows for 21700, 20700 and 18650 (with adapter) cells. But, be forewarned, the 100-watt potential output only comes with the 21700 cells, even if the documentation doesn’t clearly state it.

Secondly is about its performance. Starting off with the looks and design, the Snow Wolf Mini has almost duplicated the finishing touches of the original Snow Wolf. It feels just like the original, premium and clean. And about the including tank, even the official website doesn’t give it a name, we can know that it is a 25mm diameter RTA with 5ml capacity, and it features top-filling. Despite being able to fire low ohm builds, the Snow Wolf Mini doesn’t seem to like them. I have gotten the high heat warnings several times, and the mod gets warm on builds, specifically on builds like 0.17 ohms at 55 watts. For users who like low builds and high power, I would not recommend this mod. It runs perfectly with any builds above 0.3 ohms.

In a word, I would say that this mod looks really premium and nice (except the 3D logo). Vapors who loved the original Snow Wolf will definitely love this mini version of it and is definitely more portable and easier to carry around compared to the bulky original Snow Wolf.
